About Wedding Photography

More and more couples are hoping that ‘Uncle Joe’ can take their wedding pictures and so save money.  It’s all about managing budgets and priorities. While I’m admittedly biased, this is really a false economy.  First, really good wedding pictures are a lot harder to capture than bad ones!  The difference between a professional photographer and an amateur is really immense.  And then you want a professional who is really experienced at capturing all the emotions and atmosphere of the occasion.

When it comes to how to get the most out of your wedding budget, remember that the photographs last forever, and the flowers are preserved in the photographs.  The expense of the venue and the booze and the catering, while important, are not lasting investments.  They will not be something you can share with your family or future generations.
